Containerized Solar Steam for Hotels, Resorts & Businesses
No roof work. No complex installation. Just plug‑and‑play renewable heat.
The SunSteamSkid is a self‑contained solar thermal plant built inside a standard shipping container. It sits on the ground – not on your roof – and produces hot water or low‑pressure steam using only the sun.
Inside the container, a bank of high‑efficiency Fresnel lenses or parabolic troughs concentrates sunlight onto an absorber tube. The resulting steam passes through a heat exchanger to heat your hot water storage or supply direct steam for kitchens, laundry, or pool heating.
Because everything is pre‑assembled on a rugged steel skid, installation takes one day. Connect cold water in, hot water out, and electricity. No roof surveys. No crane. No waterproofing headaches.
Key Benefits
- Zero roof work – Place the container on any flat ground or parking area
- Hot water up to 80°C and low‑pressure steam for versatile use
- Modular design – Add more skids as your hotel grows
- 15‑20 year lifetime with minimal maintenance (just wash the optics)
- Reduces energy bills by 50‑80% depending on location
- Backup ready – integrates with existing gas boilers or electric heaters
Who We Are
SunSteamSkid is founded by an industrial engineer who previously built containerized biodiesel refineries and algae plants in Europe and Canada. That same modular, no‑compromise approach is now applied to solar heat. We don’t sell parts – we deliver complete, certified, plug‑and‑play systems.
Target Markets
Designed for hotels, resorts, swimming pools, commercial kitchens, laundries, and any business that needs reliable, low‑cost hot water or steam – especially in sunny regions like Southern Europe.
